Tongues from evil

Unpollute // Micah

Some of the worst health hazards befalling the human race are generated by noise pollution. While social media has given everyone a mic, most use it to disperse hazardous materials. Speculation, shared as fact, is often dispensed as solution. In the words of a sage, “The problem with opinions is they are like armpits, everyone has them and most of them stink.” So what are we to do when amplified voices, like foggers, pump out toxins and choke us out?

Speak life. When a million stories cloud the airways, we must let the good news be our headline. In an age where everyone is talking but few are saying much, we can freshen the atmosphere by faithfully sharing the message of hope in God. May we keep our tongues from evil and tell of a pure love that even in the murkiest of environments is sure to Unpollute.

I Peter 3:10 “For whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.”

Psalm 145:4 & 6 “Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness.”
