The Word Became Flesh // Micah

The Bible tells us that the all-powerful, magnificent God of the universe, stooped down and became a man through Jesus Christ. He humbled himself and took on a robe of human flesh, bore our weaknesses and faced our temptations. He did so, in order to pay the price due our sin, on the cross and defeat sin and death through the resurrection. By this we may access pardon by trusting His sufficient sacrifice on our behalf. Because of Him we can be made right with God and enjoy Him forever. What a Savior! If He stooped down to meet our need who are we to ignore those in our world in such physical and spiritual need?

"But to all who have received Him-those who believe in His name-He has given the right to become God’s children-children not born by human parents or by human desire or a husband’s decision, but by God. Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw His glory-the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father.” John 1:12-14
